Air Astana has started sales for services from Astana to Seoul, with twice weekly frequency operated by Airbus A321LR commencing on 15th June 2024.

Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s award-winning flag carrier, launched a new direct air services from Almaty to Tel Aviv, today. The new flight is scheduled to operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays using Airbus A321LR aircraft.

Air Astana has signed a codeshare partnership agreement with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), with the two airlines operating joint flights on the Baku-Almaty-Baku route five times a week.

Air Astana has opened ticket sales for a new direct flight from Almaty to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, which will commence on 1st October 2023. Services will initially operate on Wednesdays and Sundays, with additional frequency to be introduced at a later date.

Air Astana has opened ticket sales for a new direct flight from Almaty to Tel Aviv, Israel, which will operated twice weekly by Airbus A321LR starting in September. This service represents an expansion of the airline’s route network in a new direction and provides the first direct air service between Kazakhstan and Israel.

The purpose of the agreement is to expand the Kazakh-Korean cooperation in the field of tourism. The participants agreed to carry out joint actions to develop and increase levels of tourism in both countries.

Air Astana has switched to a spring-summer operating schedule effective from 26th March to 29th October 2023 and during this period will steadily increase the number of international flights.

Kazakhstan’s Air Astana group has reported a profit after tax for 2022 of $78.4 million, on revenues of $1.03 billion, generated by 7.35 million passengers.

From 18 March 2023, Air Astana will resume flights from Astana to Beijing with a frequency of two per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays and a further increase set for summer. The flights will be operated on Airbus A321LRs.

Air Astana announced its operational results for the year 2022 during the event at its own aviation-technical center in Astana.

The leased aircraft are scheduled to begin arriving from the first half of 2025.
