In order to start your travel experience with Air Astana already at the airport as comfortable and hassle free as possible, we at Air Astana have implemented Online Check-In on our website www.airastana.com. This service is available at all our departure airports in our entire route network.
To check-in for a flight, simply enter your Surname, then choose your Form of Identification and enter it. This can be your Booking Reference or alternatively your Nomad Club Membership Number, or your E-Ticket Number or your Passport Number. Then click the “Next” button and follow the simple instructions on the screen. Your Booking Reference is a 6 alphanumeric code which is shown on your electronic ticket or confirmation e-mail. Once all requested details are entered, you can print your Boarding Pass on standard A4 paper from any printer.
If you are using mobile device for check-in, you can save and use mobile Boarding Pass without printing it. For more details please click here.
Take your printed Boarding Pass with you to the airport and proceed straight to your departure gate. If you have luggage to be checked-in, please go to any Air Astana Check-in counter or to a special assigned Air Astana “Baggage Drop Off” counter at the airport.
Air Astana offers the choice of seat selection before the flight free of charge. However, all pre-assigned seat(s) are subject to change at any point in time in case of operational requirements or aircraft change.
For the following passenger categories Check-in is also available online, but BOARDING PASSES cannot be printed out and must be collected at the airport:
- passengers with an infant(s), child(ren)
- passengers with youth fare tickets
- passengers with senior fare tickets
- passengers who agreed with airline’s anti-fraud procedure
- and for all passengers who have Special Service Requests in their bookings
Web Check-in is not available for:
- unaccompanied minors
- passengers with an extra seat
- passengers on a stretcher
- passengers whose ticket is issued on the form of another airline (interline partners)
In case of any changes to the booking, the seat reserved online can be cancelled online using the same Web Check-in. If you are departing from Kazakhstan and you wish to be rebooked to an earlier flight please contact Air Astana ticketing offices.
