Terms and Conditions of Nomad Corporate Programme

These Terms and Conditions set out the contractual relationship between the air company and enrolling company to Nomad Corporate. Company will ensure that travelling employees of the company are aware of these terms and conditions and will comply with them.

1. Introduction

Nomad Corporate is corporate loyalty programme of Air Astana exclusively designed for small and medium sized business entities. Members of Nomad Corporate will receive points for business travels of their employees for eligible Air Astana flights. These points can be exchanged for free flights or award upgrade tickets.
Participation in Nomad Corporate is subject to these Terms and Conditions and to General Nomad Club programme Terms and Conditions. Member confirms that familiarized with Terms and Conditions and accepted them by clicking the “Submit” button when applying online.

2. Membership

2.1 Membership is open for small and medium sized business entities. Travel companies, different travel agencies along with online travel agencies are not eligible in participating in the programme.

2.2. Nomad Corporate enrollment is only possible online at www.airastana.com. Membership applications must state the Company's full name, the Company's valid company/business registration number, and registered office address together with CEO/Director/Senior Manager and the Programme Administrator's name and their individual Nomad Club membership number as well as the preferred business address for correspondence. Members cannot state more than one preferred mailing address for correspondence. 

2.3. Membership is subject for approval of Nomad Club programme management and programme management may refuse Membership to any applicant. 

2.4. Once registered to Nomad Corporate, members will be given a corporate ID number which consists from nine digit number starting with 9. Appointed during registration process Company Administrator and CEO/Director/Senior Manager will have access to Nomad Corporate account using their individual Nomad Club membership number and Password from it. 

2.5. By providing Your Nomad Corporte ID number and/or participating in the Programme you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time and the information on Nomad Club. This is in addition to your acceptance of Terms and Conditions on enrolment. 

2.6. Changes to Nomad Corporate account profile must be updated online.

2.7. Correspondence will be sent to the email address provided during the application process. And Nomad Club programme or Air Astana will not be responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail.

3. Administrator and CEO/Director/Senior Manager roles and responsibilities

3.1. The account role determines which responsibilities an individual is assigned and therefore which features of the programme they can access. For a Company to join Nomad Corporate, an account must have an Administrator and CEO/Director/Senior Manager. 

3.2. Administrator is employee of the company who joins Nomad Corporate programme and has overall control of the account and online to administer company’s participation in the programme. His/her capabilities and functionalities are to change company details and appoint or remove participants and redeem awards. 

3.3. CEO/Director/Senior these are company employees from upper level management with capabilities to change company details, add and remove members, redeem awards. 

3.4. Company’s Nomad Corporate account management and data protection is full responsivility of Administrator and CEO/Director/Senior.

4. Earning points

4.1. Nomad Club Corporate members earn points on the basis of split ratio between the Nomad Corporate and individual account of the member. Points will appear within 14 days on your Nomad Corporate account once the journey is completed. The entry split ratio is 20/80 accordingly.

4.2. To earn points into Nomad Corporate account members are required to:

Bookings made through travel agencies

• Individual Nomad Club membership number of the passenger;
• 9 digit Corporate ID number for all bookings (under OSI entry in PNR) before passengers commence their travel in a format as; OSI KC 999900005

Bookings made on the website of Air Astana

Indicate 9 digits Corporate ID to the corresponding field on the website along with the individual Nomad Club membership number of the passenger.

4.3. Points for bookings where Corporate ID number is failed to be entered  or entered in a wrong format will not credited automatically, manually or online.

4.4. All other provisions of earning points are as per Nomad Club programme general terms and conditions.

4.5. Term of validity of Nomad Corporate points in the personal and corporate account 12 (twelve) months from the date of flight.


5. Missing flight points

5.1. Every effort is made to ensure that points are credited accurately. However if a flight credit has not been posted, Nomad Corporate members can retro claim points online on Air Astana website given the fact that in booking there was corporate ID number entered as OSI.

5.2. Retro claim of missing points available within 4 (four) months from the date of the flight.

5.3. Air Astana’s responsibility for missing points is limited to posting of points for qualified transactions. Air Astana reserves the right to make a final determination as to what constitutes a qualifying transaction and to determine the amount of points to be credited.

 

6. Redeeming awards

6.1. Nomad Corporate will start earning points from the first day of registration to the programme. Redemption will be activated once your company has reached redemption limit of 2 (two) million tenge spent on Air Astana tickets within a calendar year.

6.2. Redemption limit is to be reset each calendar year. Redemption is to be activated each calendar year after the qualification on redemption limit is met.

6.3. To redeem points Nomad Corporate accounts’ Administrator or CEO/Director/Senior Manager are required to log in using individual Nomad Club membership number and password. Select option “Nomad Corporate Redemption”.

6.4. To upgrade to business class Nomad Corporate accounts’ Administrator or CEO/Director/Senior Manager are required to log in using individual Nomad Club membership number and password. Select option “Nomad Corporate Upgrade”.

6.5. It is Nomad Corporate members responsibility to check and on the taxation of award tickets redeemed against.

6.6. Air Astana is not responsible for any Rewards which are incorrectly awarded.

6.7. All other provisions of redeeming awards are as per Nomad Club programme general terms and conditions

7. Elite programs and benefits

7.1. Upon joining, Nomad Corporate members will automatically be entered as a Nomad Corporate Blue member. The more corporate member fly on Air Astana, the faster it will progress to the higher tiers of rewards.

7.2. Nomad Corporate tier is based on the amount the Company has spent on travel in one calendar year with Air Astana. Spent means the cost of each ticket including the fare and all possible taxes and surcharges.

7.3. Nomad Corporate members are entitled to the following additional benefits for the duration of their membership validity:

• 100,000 bonus points purchase per year
• Two free upgrades per year

Silver

10,000,000 – 19,999,999 KZT

• 25% more bonus points
• 150,000 bonus points purchase per year
• Four free upgrades per year
• One Nomad Club Silver membership card to any employee

Gold

20,000,000 KZT and more

• 50% more bonus points
• 200,000 bonus points purchase per year
• Six free upgrades per year
• One Nomad Club Gold membership card to any employee

7.4. Silver and Gold elite statuses are valid from the day of qualification until the remainder of the qualification year plus 12 months. For example, if a Nomad Corporate member reaches 10 000 000 KZT spent in a year for Air Astana tickets on 01 August 2020, Nomad Corporate Silver membership will remain valid through 31 December 2021.

7.5.  If an Elite program member continues to fly the required amount of spent in each calendar year, he/she will maintain the corresponding Elite status and will continue to enjoy the associated Elite benefits. Nomad Club Gold members who do not re-qualify for the Gold membership, will automatically become Silver members and will be entitled to the Silver benefits. Nomad Club Silver members who do not re-qualify for the Silver membership, will automatically become general members and will be entitled to general membership benefits. The member shall use their Blue membership card to continue earning points.

7.6.  Privileges of the tier are valid only during the active tier period.

7.7. Gifting elite cards can be done by request from CEO/Director/Senior Manager via Help Centre

7.8.  Validity and other provisions of gifted elite card is as per Nomad Club programme general terms and conditions.

8.  Free Nomad Corporate upgrades to business class

8.1. Along with redemption against accumulated points, Nomad Corporate members have free upgrades as one of the privileges of the programme.

8.2. Each Nomad Corporate free upgrade is valid for a ticket and covers all segments within one ticket.

8.3. Nomad Corporate Blue members have 2 (two) free upgrades per calendar year. Free upgrades will be activated once the redemption limit is met. Silver and Gold Nomad corporate members have 4 (four) and 6 (six) free upgrades respectively.
Once Nomad Corporate Blue member reaches Silver tier it will have 4 (four) additional free upgrades to use. Once Gold tier is reached it will have 6 (six) additional free upgrades to use.

8.4. Free upgrades to be used within the calendar year. Unused free upgrades will not transfer for the next year.
