Our wheelchair services are specifically suited to cater to diverse passenger needs, guaranteeing a smooth and comfortable journey for everyone. Please select the option below that best aligns with your specific requirements:
- For passengers capable of ascending and descending steps independently but in need of assistance for covering long distances.
- For passengers unable to ascend and descend steps but capable of moving independently to and from the cabin seat, requiring a wheelchair for covering long distances.
- For passengers who are entirely immobile, requiring assistance with ascending and descending steps as well as movement to and from the cabin seat.
Urumqi Airport only provides wheelchairs for passengers who are capable of ascending and descending steps independently but need assistance for covering long distances. Passengers who are unable to climb up and down the aircraft ramp or move around the cabin on their own will require a paid first aid service upon arrival at the airport.
To register a passenger for stretcher service, a special request must be submitted to the Help Centre at least 96 hours before departure, with the option for an exceptional request at least 24 hours in advance.
Upon purchasing the service, twelve seats are allocated in Economy Class with a Classic fare, and airport charges are applicable only once. A children's discount of 50% of the fare is applicable.
An accompanying person must make a separate booking at any available Economy Class fare.
Please note that requests exceeding the maximum allowable weight of 130 kg will be refused.
Ticket changes are permitted, and in such cases, the rules of the Classic fare apply, with a penalty charged for six seats.
For rebooking, a request must be submitted no later than 24 hours before departure to avoid additional fees.
Ticket refunds before departure are allowed, subject to a penalty based on the Classic fare rules. If a passenger applies for a refund less than 24 hours before departure, the ticket will not be refunded. Refund of unused taxes, except for fuel surcharge and service fee, is permitted within one year. If a refund is requested due to deterioration of health, the passenger must contact the Service Recovery Unit with supporting documentation.
