Have you recently received an electronic voucher from one of our colleagues? You can redeem it at our website for your upcoming flight or any additional chargeable services. Please familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions and FAQ section below.

General Terms and Conditions

E-Voucher is valid for 1 calendar year from the date of issue.

Voucher is also valid for additional services at the time of purchase.

Vouchers may not be given as a gift or transferred to any third party.

The voucher cannot be used for the purchase of tickets for unaccompanied minors, at age-based rates (youth and senior fares), and for the compound (multiple) routes.

When does the airline offer an electronic voucher?

Electronic vouchers are granted as compensation by airline staff before/during/after a flight. Upon receipt of the voucher, the passenger/customer releases the Air Astana carrier from and against all and any claims on their application, including claims for additional compensation.

How do I get my voucher?

The voucher will be sent to your email address or mobile number.

How do I use my voucher?

E-vouchers can be redeemed on our website only. During payment, please select “Redeem E-Voucher” and enter your voucher number and document number. Then select the “Pay with a bank card” option and enter your card details. Please note that the following applies when using our voucher: only one voucher can be used per booking.

You can also pay for additional services provided that they are redeemed at the same time as the ticket.

Can I use my voucher to purchase tickets for myself and other passengers?

Yes, it can be used for payment for several passengers in the same booking.

My ticket price exceeds the value of the voucher.

If the price of your ticket is higher than the value of your voucher, you’ll have to pay the remaining amount. If the price of your ticket is less than the voucher amount, the difference is non-refundable.

What is the currency of the voucher?

Kazakh Tenge, United States Dollars or the local currency depending on where it was issued.

How do you convert one currency to another?

The value of the voucher will be automatically exchanged to ticket currency based on exchange rates in Air Astana’s host reservation system.

Is the voucher refundable?

Electronic voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for an equivalent amount of cash.

Can I use my voucher for a different airline?

The voucher can only be used for flights operated by Air Astana.
