Air Astana is coordinating permissions with Tel Aviv Airport to operate a flight from Tel Aviv in order to safely transport Kazakhstanis to their homeland.
The flight departure from Tel Aviv to Almaty is scheduled for 10 October at 12:50 local time. Passengers with air tickets for any dates are allowed transportation. One passenger is permitted one piece of hand luggage up to 8 kg and one piece of checked baggage up to 20 kg.
Kazakhstanis who do not have air tickets can purchase them at a special rate through the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Passenger lists are also generated by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Israel. We ask the passengers to contact the following numbers: +972 (3) 741 78 05, +972 55 273 3813, +7 700 111 31 96.
Passengers must arrive at Tel Aviv airport five hours before flight departure. We ask passengers to observe increased security measures when traveling to the airport.
Israeli citizens who wish to fly home can take advantage of tomorrow's flight on the Almaty to Tel Aviv route. The flight departure is scheduled for 10 October at 08.00 Almaty time. Air Astana informs that despite the suspension of flights to/from Tel Aviv by most international airlines for security reasons, the airline continues to seek available alternative options for passengers who have wished to fly.
Due to the cancellation of flight KC649 Almaty-Tel Aviv, the airline has provided assistance in rebooking tickets for 27 Israeli citizens. Passengers have been rebooked to alternative flights to Turkey and Georgia, according to their preferences.
For the cancelled flight KC650 Tel Aviv-Almaty, 7 passengers have been rebooked on flight of Air Astana's interline partner, 19 passengers have applied for a full refund and 3 passengers have not yet decided.
In addition, the airline has appointed a staff member to provide counselling and information support to Kazakhstani passengers via WhatsApp chat with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Israel. The airline has also launched a 24-hour hotline for questions related to travelling to/from Israel: +7 (727) 244 44 78 (for calls) and +7 702 702 0074 (WhatsApp).

Air Astana regrets to inform that due to military escalation in Israel, flight KC649 on 8th October from Almaty to Tel Aviv cannot be operated. The safety of our passengers and crew always remains our top priority.
Air Astana is currently taking all necessary measures and efforts to arrange safe return home of our passengers, including our staff in Tel Aviv.

Due to the unstable situation in Israel, Air Astana informs that the scheduled flight tomorrow will operate subject to the security of Ben-Gurion Airport. Нowever all subsequent flights are suspended until further notice.
Air Astana is suspending ticket sales for flights to Tel Aviv until further notice. Passengers who previously purchased tickets and now wish to cancel their trips due to the current situation, are offered a full refund at the place of purchase.
Air Astana is closely monitoring the development of the situation. Passengers are requested to check flight status at the official website and apply for refunds via the Help Center.
