At Green Bazaar, you’ll have the chance to sample a variety of Eastern sweets, dairy products, and fresh fruits. As the oldest market in the city, it remains one of the most vibrant and atmospheric places in Almaty, offering an authentic glimpse into the local culture. Next, visit the Rahat Chocolate Factory Shop, renowned for its delicious confections, which are famous not only throughout Kazakhstan but also internationally. The factory is a true symbol of the country, and its exquisite chocolate sets are considered some of the most popular souvenirs among tourists.

  • Lunch at the National Café with Shashlik Cooking Masterclass.

This hands-on experience begins with a pre-prepared marinade made from fresh, local ingredients, allowing you to focus on perfecting your grilling skills. Under the guidance of an experienced local chef, you will learn how to skewer and grill the meat to perfection, receiving valuable tips and tricks along the way. The chef will share the secrets of the ideal grilling technique, ensuring your shashlik is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Not only will you cook your own shashlik, but you’ll also enjoy it with traditional side dishes and sauces. The final stop on the gastronomic tour will take you to the "Arba Wine" Shop, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of Kazakh wines. With over 40 years of wine production, the Arba Wine winery is known for creating unique wines thanks to the region’s exceptional climate, with vineyards nestled in a mountainous area rich in sunlight and water. During the tasting, you’ll try four varieties of white wine and four varieties of red wine, offering a true taste of Kazakhstan’s wine culture.

  • Dinner at Sandyq Traditional Restaurant.

Sandyq is a traditional restaurant in Almaty that offers a warm and authentic Kazakh dining experience. The menu showcases a variety of local dishes, including besbarmak, shashlik, and kurt, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Guests can enjoy the cozy ambiance, surrounded by traditional Kazakh décor and the genuine hospitality that the country is known for. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in the rich flavors of Kazakhstan while savoring the cultural atmosphere.
