Stopover Booking Terms & Conditions
You are recommended to read these booking terms and conditions carefully and in the event that there is anything, which you do not understand, contact Stopover Holidays team (email@example.com) for clarification.
Where Air Astana books a hotel or other ground service under Stopover Holidays Program in its capacity as agent of the relevant third party supplier, your contract for that accommodation or service will be subject to the supplier’s Terms & Conditions which could limit or exclude liability to you. No contract will come into existence until we accept your request for a booking and receive full payment in cleared funds. When you submit your request for a booking, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept (and do accept) these conditions on behalf of yourself and all persons covered by your booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information given to you in connection with your booking by us, or any third party supplier, is passed on to everyone on whose behalf you are making, or have made, the booking. If you are making a booking for more than one person, you are responsible for all payments due from every person for whom that booking is made. All the featured hotels and services are subject to availability.
Where Air Astana sells you an Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays service provided by a third party in its capacity, it is not responsible for acts or omissions of these suppliers, their employees or representatives, nor for any deficiency in the service provided and, in particular, Air Astana has no liability for loss, personal injury or death or other damage of whatever nature however incurred, unless such loss is caused by Air Astana’ negligence.
Air Astana reserves the right to cancel or change any Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays service and is unable to accept any responsibility for loss, damage or expense due to unusual, unforeseeable events beyond Air Astana’ reasonable control, the consequences of which could not be avoided even if all due care had been exercised, including but not limited to delays or changes in schedules, technical or maintenance problems, hotels, overbooking or defaults, adverse weather conditions, natural or industrial disaster, industrial actions involving third party suppliers, war, terrorist activity, quarantine or other causes. You accept full responsibility for such loss, damage or expense.
All information on Air Astana website is correct at the time of publishing. Details and regulations are subject to change. Please note that this product may not be available for sale in some countries as restrictions may apply.
$1 promotional offer* is only valid for one segment per booking reference number and available for the first night stay with standard hotel check-in and check-out time. Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays are offered to individual transit passengers travelling with Air Astana via Astana/Almaty from an international point of departure to an international point of arrival with a minimum connection time of 10 hours to qualify for the benefits of Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays. At least one travel sector (either into or out of Astana/Almaty) must be carried out on Air Astana.
Unaccompanied passengers (Unaccompanied Minors) below 16 years old are not qualified for the benefits of Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays.
If Kazakhstan visa is required, passenger undertakes its own and full responsibility to apply and get the visa. The burden of responsibility lies on a passenger who ensure that all his/her travel documents are correct and in order.

Validity of Prices
All prices featured on www.airastana.com are:
- Valid to December 31, 2017 unless otherwise specified;
- Based on tariffs submitted by hotels and other third party suppliers and on exchange rate current at time of publishing;
- All prices are per person accommodated in DOUBLE/TWIN or SINGLE room in United State Dollars.
Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays Program guarantee
Air Astana guarantees that once you have paid for your booking in full, regardless of increases in third party supplier cost or adverse changes in monetary exchange rates, no additional charges will be passed to you. Once full payment has been received for a confirmed booking, Stopover Holidays team will issue you a voucher for Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays services booked. This voucher is a confirmation of the services to be provided and should be held by the visitor to show upon demand to package suppliers.
How to book with us
Booking must be made must be made a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival for the request to be processed. Booking well in advance is strongly recommended. Full payment must be made at the time of booking. Once full payment has been received for a confirmed booking, Stopover Holidays will issue you a voucher for Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays services booked. This voucher is a confirmation of the services to be provided and should be held by the visitor to show upon demand to package suppliers.
Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays Program includes:
- Accommodation in selected hotel/room type;
- American or continental buffet-style breakfast;
- Round-trip transfers between Astana/Almaty International Airports and the hotels;
- All local taxes and service charges
Any change in such fees and charges and/or additional fees or taxes introduced by local authorities, will be added as and when implemented.
Airfare must be first paid for in full before your purchase Stopover Holidays package. Astana/Almaty Stopover Holidays Program does not include the cost of any visas, flights, travel and medical insurances. The passenger shall take his/her own responsibility to arrange all the necessary travel documents. Please keep you immigration card in your passport all the time. The immigration card contains the date of your entry to Kazakhstan fixed by Passport Control at the airport upon arrival. You’re at your departure shall hand it over to the Passport Control back.
Standard check-in time is 14:00 and check-out is 12:00. Please note it is a normal practice in Kazakhstan to request a credit card guarantee or deposit at the check-in.
The number of rooms booked cannot exceed the number of passengers.
A maximum occupancy of two adults and child below 12 years on existing bedding is applicable for extra charge. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org minimum of 3 working days prior to arrival for the request to be processed.
Please note that all hotel booking include guided meeting upon arrival and car transfer organized by our partners. Child/infant seats for children under 6 years of age are free-of-charge. This rule is valid for one child per one accompanying adult. All infant/child details must be included in the booking. Baggage allowance per person is 2 pieces (one suitcase and one hand trolley bag or equivalent).
The transfer airport-hotel-airport is provided only when the dates of arrival and departure match the hotel check-in and check-out dates.
Confirmation, Cancellation, No-Shows and Refunds
Confirmation of the services will be provided by Air Astana upon receipt of payment by Air Astana.
Cancellation or rebooking can be done minimum of 7 days prior to arrival. To request a refund please contact email@example.com. All requests for refund received later than 7 days prior to arrival are not applicable.
In case of no-shows on the expected date/flight refunds are not permitted. Air Astana recommends that visitors arrange travel insurance to cover costs incurred in the event of voluntary cancellation of services by the visitor.
Visitors must ensure that he/she and the rest of their party have valid passports and appropriate visas to enter the Republic of Kazakhstan. Under any circumstances Air Astana will not be liable for any cost, delays or illness resulting from the visitors’ failure to meet these requirements. Visitors are responsible for the behavior of him/herself and their party. Air Astana and our suppliers reserve the right to refuse booking or to remove the visitor or any member of the visitors party from any hotel if the visitor or any member of his/her party is reasonably deemed to behave in a disruptive, dangerous or anti-social manner. Air Astana will make no refund or payment of any cost incurred by visitors under these circumstances and visitor may face the prosecution.
