Air Astana: a MRO leader in Central Asia

Kazakhstan’s leading air carrier, Air Astana provided maintenance to more than 90 local and foreign airlines in 2016.

 Air Astana is certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for aircraft maintenance under the requirements of Directive 145. Since 2011, the airline has been providing technical support to major Asian, European and Gulf carriers including Aeroflot, Asiana Airlines, Etihad, KLM, Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines.

Air Astana's Engineering and Maintenance Department offers a wide range of support services including line maintenance, repairs to wheels, brakes, galley equipment, batteries, structures, together with non-destructive testing and borescope inspection of engines. 

The company also conducts certified engineering courses.
