  • Air Astana Increases Frequencies from Almaty to Hong Kong

    Award wining Kazakh carrier adds third frequency on existing Almaty – Hong Kong route

    Air Astana, the flag carrier of Kazakhstan, increased the frequency of its service between Almaty and Hong Kong on 17th March 2013. The additional third frequency is now operated on Sundays, together with existing Tuesday and Friday services. Flights will be performed by Boeing 757-200 aircraft configured in 166 seats in a two class layout. The flight duration from Almaty to Hong Kong is 6 hours and 10 minutes.

    The Hong Kong service was launched on 28th August 2012 and within six months, the airline had carried over 10 000 passengers and more than 185 tones of cargo on the route.

    Together with its partner airlines, Air Astana offers convenient connections for passengers travelling to Guangzhou, Macau, Manila and other South East Asia destinations through Hong Kong, one of the region’s major hubs.

    The cost of an economy return ticket from Almaty to Hong Kong starts at 567.10 USD, including all airport taxes, business class return ticket starts at 2250.10 USD including airport taxes.
